Gayla Holloway Bradbury, 60, loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother of five, went home to collect her angel wings Aug. 10.

Gayla was born in Tucson, Ariz., to Sam and Betty Thompson. She married the love of her life, David Michael Holloway, on July 3, 1982. She was a loving mother to two and was known as Granny to her five grandsons. Gayla was a wonderful person to be around, loved hummingbirds and angels, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and never met a stranger. She was always full of love and would help anyone in need. Gayla had a long career in the accounting field and in 2015 moved to Pagosa Springs, Colo., to be closer to her daughter and grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter, Kasha Sue Rose Holloway Mack (Jason); son Kevin Michael Holloway; grandchildren: Jayton Mack, Hayden Holloway, Grayson Holloway, David Mack and Maverick Holloway; and sisters Karen, Charlotte, Rosie (Arthur), Susie (Greg); and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mike.

If you would like to donate in Gayla’s honor, please consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: https://www.stjude.org/.
