Fay Brigham Sweat, 89, of Pagosa Springs, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 23, with his loving wife, Lora “June” Sweat (Snow), and his daughter, Shelley Bea.
Fay was a retired Aurora fire chief who loved spending his free time with family, gardening and fishing. He is survived by his son, Steven Sweat (Sylvia), of Cedaredge, Colo., and daughter, Shelley Sweat. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-granddaughters, as well as his only living brother, Tom Lines, of Grand Junction.
Fay’s funeral will be held Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. at the LDS church. All are welcome.
